About

We are looking for a Paramedic to join our team of medical professionals in the Pike County area in Mississippi. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing emergency medical care and transportation to the acutely ill patient in pre-hospital and interfacility transport situations. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations, and a commitment to providing the highest quality of care. The Paramedic must also be able to quickly assess and diagnose medical conditions, provide appropriate treatment, and document all patient information accurately. The candidate must be nationally registered as a Paramedic with a valid driver's license and clean driving history.
*Responsibilities:*
* Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls calmly, efficiently, and promptly
* Perform a careful examination of the patient for signs and symptoms of illness/injury and provide medical care in emergency situations
* Maintain accurate patient records and document all treatments provided
* Communicate with other healthcare providers to ensure proper patient care
*Physical Demands:*
* The work is strenuous and demands bending, twisting, squatting, lifting, and other repetitive movements
* Candidate must be able to lift onto a stretcher and then carry, with assistance of a partner, a person weighing not less than 225 pounds
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN
Pay: From $57,000.00 per year
