About
We are looking for an experienced Forklift Operator to join our team in Madison, Wisconsin. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials and goods throughout our warehouse. Your primary duties will include operating forklifts to load and unload trucks, move inventory between storage areas, and assist with order fulfillment processes. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment is paramount. You will be expected to perform pre-operation inspections of the forklift, adhere strictly to all company Safety guidelines, and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, precision, and a strong commitment to workplace Safety. Experience with various types of forklifts and proficiency in warehouse logistics are essential. You may also be required to assist with other warehouse duties as needed, including occasional Lifting and packing. Our logistics operations rely on skilled operators like you to ensure smooth and timely product flow. Key responsibilities include:
- Operating forklifts safely and efficiently to move goods.
- Loading and unloading trucks and containers.
- Transporting inventory to and from designated storage areas.
- Performing routine checks on forklift equipment.
- Adhering to all Safety regulations and procedures.
- Using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
- Assisting with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Collaborating with warehouse staff to ensure operational efficiency.
