You will operate various types of forklifts and other powered industrial trucks, ensuring that all equipment is in good working condition and that all safety regulations are followed. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move materials.
- Load and unload shipments from trucks and trailers.
- Store materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Retrieve materials for order fulfillment and other warehouse operations.
- Perform daily inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient logistics operations.
- Support receiving and shipping departments as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and regulations.
- Ability to perform Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with logistics processes.
