Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing the inbound and outbound flow of goods within our distribution center. Your duties will include receiving incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, inspecting for damage, stocking inventory, and preparing outgoing shipments for carriers. A thorough understanding of warehouse operations and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized environment are essential. We provide all necessary PPE and emphasize safe material handling practices, including proper lifting and equipment operation. This position requires strong organizational skills, accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against documentation.
  • Inspect received goods for damage and accuracy.
  • Accurately document all incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Stock received items into appropriate warehouse locations.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for outgoing shipment.
  • Load outgoing shipments onto trucks.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping and receiving area.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (certification may be required).
  • Adhere to all safety policies, including the use of PPE.
  • Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory management.
