About
We are looking for a diligent Material Handler to join our logistics team in Boston, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be responsible for the smooth flow of materials within our warehouse, ensuring efficient loading, unloading, and organization. Your tasks will include operating material handling equipment, assisting with inventory management, and maintaining a safe work environment. This is a crucial position supporting our overall logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and containers safely and efficiently.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Transport materials to and from various warehouse locations.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock organization.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse.
- Adhere to all Safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Support shipping and receiving activities as directed.
- Perform other duties as assigned to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as a Material Handler or in a warehouse setting is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and basic inventory principles.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual.
