Your responsibilities will include navigating the warehouse efficiently, identifying items based on order specifications, and preparing them for subsequent stages of processing. A strong focus on safety is required, including strict adherence to all safety protocols and the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires physical activity, including walking, standing, and frequent lifting of goods. Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve specified items from warehouse inventory.
- Use handheld scanners to confirm picks and update inventory records.
- Double-check picked items against order forms for accuracy.
- Transport items to designated staging areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station and surrounding areas.
- Comply with all safety regulations and best practices.
- Handle products involving moderate lifting throughout the shift.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damages immediately.
- Assist with other warehouse functions as directed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in order picking or a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.
- Familiarity with basic logistics principles is a plus.
- Understanding and commitment to safety procedures and PPE usage.
