Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and accurately.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder points to prevent stock-outs or overstocking.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement in logistics and operations.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of inventory to maintain its condition.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Generate reports on inventory accuracy, turns, and other key metrics.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in inventory control or a similar warehouse role.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and WMS.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data entry and analysis.
- Ability to perform light to moderate lifting, up to 30 lbs.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
