We are seeking an experienced and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in San Francisco, California. This leadership role is critical to overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and the highest standards of safety. You will be responsible for managing staff, optimizing workflows, and maintaining inventory integrity within our dynamic logistics environment. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of warehouse management, and a proven ability to motivate teams. Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising and coordinating the activities of warehouse staff.
- Ensuring efficient receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Implementing and enforcing safety procedures and policies.
- Training and mentoring team members on job duties and safety protocols.
- Managing inventory levels and conducting regular audits.
- Optimizing space utilization and warehouse layout.
- Monitoring productivity and implementing improvements.
- Resolving operational issues and discrepancies.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Commitment to workplace safety, including understanding of PPE and safe Lifting practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks as needed, including Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
