In this role, you will be responsible for locating items in our warehouse, preparing them for shipment, and ensuring the accuracy of every order. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to customer orders and pick lists.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack picked items securely and efficiently using appropriate packaging materials.
- Use hand-held scanners to track inventory movement and update order statuses.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company guidelines.
- Assist with inventory control tasks, such as cycle counting.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times.
- Report any damaged or missing items to a supervisor promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Must be capable of lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is a strong asset.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners is beneficial.
- Ability to read and understand pick tickets and order information.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced logistics setting.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks requiring regular lifting.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
