We are hiring an Order Picker to join our busy warehouse team in Atlanta, Georgia. This role is fundamental to fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for locating and retrieving specific items from warehouse shelves according to pick lists. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, agile, and committed to maintaining high productivity standards. This position plays a key part in our overall logistics chain, ensuring timely dispatch of goods.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications.
- Verify picked items against order lists to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked orders for packing and shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate pallet jacks or other material handling equipment as needed.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines.
- Contribute to the efficiency of the logistics operations.
- Utilize appropriate PPE as required for safety.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse work is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and order details.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Capacity for lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols.
- Commitment to wearing required PPE.
