About
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team at the Cincinnati, Ohio distribution center. In this critical role, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to strict Safety standards. Your leadership will directly impact our logistics performance and team development.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
- Ensure efficient workflow and optimal use of resources within the logistics department.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse associates.
- Implement and enforce all company Safety policies and procedures, ensuring proper use of PPE and safe work practices.
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Manage the receiving and shipping processes to meet company standards and customer expectations.
- Address and resolve operational issues promptly and effectively.
- Promote a culture of Safety and accountability within the team, especially concerning Lifting and material handling.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics, and supply chain management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems.
- Ability to enforce Safety regulations and ensure compliance with PPE requirements.
- Experience in managing teams and implementing operational improvements.
- Capability to oversee tasks involving significant Lifting and physical demands.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
