About
We have an exciting opportunity for a Material Handler at our Minneapolis, Minnesota location. This role is essential for the efficient movement of goods within our distribution center, supporting our overall **logistics** operations. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move, stack, and organize materials. Your attention to **safety** and efficiency will directly contribute to our productivity. We provide all necessary **PPE** and emphasize a safe working environment. If you are experienced with material handling equipment and possess a strong work ethic, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Transport raw materials and finished goods throughout the warehouse.
- Stack and organize materials in designated areas, maintaining an orderly workspace.
- Assist with **Lifting** and moving heavy items as required (up to 60 pounds).
- Perform daily inspections of equipment to ensure **safety** and proper function.
- Adhere to all company **safety** policies and **PPE** guidelines.
- Contribute to the efficiency of our **logistics** flow.
- Identify and report any damaged materials or equipment issues.
- Participate in **safety** training sessions.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or forklift operator.
- Valid forklift certification is strongly preferred.
- Ability to operate various types of warehouse machinery.
- Experience with **Lifting** and moving heavy loads.
- Strong knowledge of **logistics** and warehouse operations.
- Excellent commitment to **safety** and correct **PPE** usage.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
