Are you a certified and experienced Forklift Operator looking for a new opportunity in Boston, Massachusetts? We are hiring motivated individuals to operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently within our bustling warehouse. Your primary responsibility will be to move materials, load and unload trucks, and assist with inventory management. This role requires precision, vigilance, and a strong commitment to **safety** protocols. You will be an integral part of our **logistics** operation, ensuring that goods are moved correctly and timely. A thorough understanding of warehouse layouts and product handling is beneficial. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe operation and a commitment to maintaining a productive work environment. We value individuals who are reliable, attentive to detail, and possess excellent **PPE** awareness. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials and products from trucks and storage areas.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts.
- Inspect equipment before and after use, reporting any issues or maintenance needs.
- Adhere to all **safety** guidelines and **PPE** requirements, including wearing a hard hat, **safety** glasses, and **safety** vest at all times.
- Follow **lifting** guidelines and best practices to prevent injuries.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Support the overall **logistics** and operational flow of the warehouse.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling.
- Ability to perform **lifting** of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of **safety** procedures and **PPE** usage.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
