Job Summary:
Join our team in Omaha, Nebraska, as an Inventory Clerk and play a vital role in managing our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting regular stock checks, and resolving any discrepancies that may arise. This position is crucial for the efficient operation of our logistics department, ensuring that we have the right products in stock at the right time. A strong commitment to Safety is essential, and you must adhere to all company Safety policies and wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). While the role is primarily focused on record-keeping and data accuracy, occasional light Lifting may be required to verify stock. Experience with inventory management software and a keen eye for detail are necessary. You will work closely with warehouse staff and management to ensure the smooth flow of goods and maintain optimal inventory levels. Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Assist with receiving and put-away processes by verifying counts.
  • Generate inventory reports as needed.
  • Ensure proper stock rotation and organization.
  • Adhere to all Safety protocols and use required PPE.
  • Communicate inventory status and concerns to management.
  • Support the overall efficiency of logistics operations through accurate inventory management.
  • Perform light Lifting as needed for stock verification.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar inventory management role.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and computer systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of warehouse Safety practices.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to wear and use required PPE.
  • Understanding of warehouse logistics is beneficial.
  • Ability to perform light Lifting.
