We are seeking dedicated Picker/Packers to join our fulfillment center in Omaha, Nebraska. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders and expertly packing them for shipment. Your efficiency and accuracy directly contribute to customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of our logistics chain. This position demands a keen eye for detail, the ability to work effectively within a team, and a steadfast commitment to upholding Safety standards. You will handle a diverse range of products, requiring careful handling and precise counting. Mandatory use of PPE and adherence to all safety regulations are essential for ensuring a secure working environment. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, energetic, and eager to contribute to our warehouse's success. This role involves significant physical activity, including extended periods of standing, walking, and moderate to heavy Lifting . Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve items from warehouse locations according to order specifications.
- Verify the quality and correctness of picked items.
- Pack products securely and efficiently for shipping.
- Apply correct labels to packages for dispatch.
- Maintain an orderly and clean workspace.
- Follow all warehouse Safety rules and procedures.
- Ensure proper use of all PPE .
- Participate in inventory counts when required.
- Support the broader logistics functions of the warehouse.
- Perform physical duties, including Lifting up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in picking, packing, or a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product identifiers.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Capability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Dedication to workplace Safety and the consistent use of PPE .
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and perform Lifting throughout the shift.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics .
