We are seeking a dedicated Inventory Control Specialist to join our logistics team in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is essential for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory, directly impacting operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for conducting thorough inventory counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing solutions to ensure precise stock levels. A keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to quality are paramount. Your work will involve collaborating with various warehouse teams to streamline processes and minimize errors. We prioritize a safe working environment, providing all necessary training and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). - Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between system records and physical stock.
- Maintain accurate inventory data within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Analyze inventory trends to identify potential issues and recommend improvements.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and rotation of all inventory items.
- Monitor stock levels and report on slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
- Work collaboratively with warehouse associates and management to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in developing and delivering inventory control training as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics is required.
- Proficiency with WMS and inventory management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical activity, including occasional Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Must be able to wear and properly use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing priorities within our logistics operations.
