Role Overview
The successful candidate will contribute to the design and delivery of mechanical systems for a variety of high-profile building projects. You’ll collaborate as part of an integrated project team, ensuring efficient, sustainable, and compliant design solutions from concept through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake engineering design and design management tasks across multiple projects.
- Design and specify mechanical engineering systems in line with current regulations and standards.
- Work directly with clients and project engineers to define project requirements and develop technical solutions.
- Support pre-construction activities, including design development, coordination, and technical documentation.
- Provide technical support to estimating, procurement, and construction teams.
Potential 2026 Projects
- Major Healthcare Campus Redevelopment – design of high-efficiency HVAC and mechanical systems for a large hospital expansion.
- Mixed-Use Residential Scheme – mechanical design for a multi-block development incorporating district heating and energy recovery systems.
Skills & Experience
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a design consultancy environment.
- Strong technical proficiency in mechanical systems design.
- Knowledge of CIBSE, ASHRAE, Building Regulations, EN and IEC standards.
- Proficient in Hevacomp, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
- Excellent communication skills, teamwork, and attention to detail. xcfaprz
