JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/ Objectives
MFG engineerswork under the guidance and direction of manufacturing engineers and under the supervision of the Manufacturing Engineering Manager.MFG Engineersprovide support for both engineering and the production shop floor by aiding inidentifyingand executing continuous improvement activities and providing support for product and process development.
Essential Functions

- Possess a working knowledge of manufacturing operations, material consumptions and movements, and manufacturing methods to craft precise andaccuratemethods of manufacturing
- Ensures product quality by developing testing and assurance methods and defining them with operations on the ERP bill of operations
- Document, design, develop, and implementor recommendproduction tooling and machinery to support manufacturing efficiency improvements or new production processes
- Provide detailed review and costing of manufacturing requirements orneedsasassignedto project efforts and requests
- Documentation, review,and completion of EWRs and ECOs through the manufacturing engineering process as assigned
- Create, load, update, andfacilitateMOM/BOM updates into Kinetic that are derived from ECOs or document mark-ups either directly or throughCADlink
- Assistproduct design in the creation andfacilitationof First Articleprocess includingdocumentation and processing
- Engage project engineering to ensure products have detailed product test plans that align with quality and/or performance requirementsfor production
- Ensures thoroughness of production work instructions by occasionally reviewing, creating, and updating supporting documentation.
- Participates in productionand engineeringdepartmental studies and process improvements
- Frequently reviewassignedmanufacturing processes toidentifyopportunities for enhanced OEE
- Document andparticipatein implementation efforts of continuous improvement opportunities for assigned processes related to safety, quality, service, cost, and efficiency
Competencies
- Microsoft O365
- Problem solving and critical thinking
- CAD Modeling software, specifically SolidWorks
- Solid understanding of engineering standards
- Foundational knowledge ofmachinery assembly, coating, welding, and CNC manufacturing processes
- Lean Six Sigma
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
Professional office setting with individual workspace.Frequentworkin the production workareasandwarehouse.

Position Type & Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, exempt position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM. This position may occasionally require long hours and weekend work.
Travel
Travel may be necessaryon a planned basis to other Puck, LLC manufacturing locations.
Required Education & Experience
- High School Diploma/GED or higher
- Minimum 3 years of related manufacturing experience
Preferred Education & Experience
- Associatesdegree or higher in engineering or related science
- Minimum2years of manufacturingengineering experience
- MinimumYellow Belt level certification in Lean Six Sigma
