Our client is hiring a Senior Manager of Data & AnalyticsHybrid role (2 days per week in Santa Clarita or DFW office)What this person will doBuild the new function, set governance and definitions, run stakeholder requirements, and still be very hands-on. They have to deliver KPIs and dashboards that the business trusts. The success measure is simple: trusted reporting that helps the business scale and hit their metrics.Team: this person will lead 3 people and report to the VPMust-haves (behavioral) Player-coach mindset: comfortable leading while still doing the work when needed. No ego about building dashboards. Stakeholder strength: can run a normal conversation with non-technical leaders, pull signal from noise, and translate vague asks into clear KPIs. Can push for clarity and sign-off: able to get sales, finance, and supply chain aligned on definitions and governance. Execution under pressure: this is a visible initiative with quarter-level expectations, needs urgency without chaos. Practical communicator: no jargon dumping, writes clean requirements and keeps stakeholders aligned.Must-haves (technical) Azure Synapse, Power BI, SSRS, strong SQL, in production. Can talk data modeling and EDW concepts credibly, not through a vendor lens. Has built or implemented data governance and data definitions, not just familiar with it.
Comfortable with master data cleanup realities, working with stakeholders to validate and then handing off to ERP team for transactional updates. Experience delivering KPI dashboards for sales performance, supply chain, and finance.
