Prior experience with laptop and desktop hardware is essential. As part of your onboarding process, you will receive free certifications in Dell and Lenovo products. Job Details This is a 1099 Contract position. Call volume varies, typically ranging from 2-5 calls per day. Compensation is based on the number of completed calls, starting at $35 per ticket. You will be responsible for executing hardware part replacements for Dell and Lenovo warranty services. Pay periods are every Friday following the initial week of completed tickets. A reliable form of transportation is required to manage these calls. Access to a computer and the internet is necessary to log onto your portal. Tickets are managed Monday through Friday. You must log into your tech portal each workday by 9 am to accept, code (update status), and plan your calls. You will connect with customers to confirm a service window for onsite visits. Manufacturers will provide the necessary parts, typically held at FedEx for you to pick up each morning. You will receive shipping labels and materials for returning removed parts.
