This role requires deep expertise in MV/LV power systems, strong multidisciplinary coordination skills, and extensive experience working within 3D modelbased project environments.
The successful candidate will ensure that all electrical designs are technically robust, fully compliant with relevant standards, and aligned with project cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
Key Responsibilities: Develop MV and LV power system design for major pharmaceutical projects.
Execute electrical design packages within a multi-disciplinary 3D design environment, ensuring full integration with other engineering disciplines.
Perform advanced power system studies, including short-circuit calculations, system analysis, and protection coordination/discrimination studies.
Develop electrical installation designs in accordance with IS, EN, and IEC standards, covering: Power distribution systems General and emergency lighting Cable sizing and routing Cable containment systems Cat 6 structured cabling Fire alarm systems Earthing and lightning protection Ensure strong inter-disciplinary collaboration by maintaining a clear understanding of design workflows, interfaces, and coordination requirements.
Work effectively with process, piping, and mechanical design teams, contributing to integrated 3D model development and resolving clashes or design gaps.
Provide technical guidance, quality oversight, and support during construction, commissioning, and handover phases as needed.
Qualifications & Experience Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline; Chartered status is advantageous.
Extensive experience (10+ years) as an Electrical Engineer, ideally within the pharmaceutical or high-tech manufacturing sectors.
Candidates with strong commercial or industrial project backgrounds will also be considered.
Proven ability to deliver electrical engineering designs on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.
Experience working on large-scale, schedule-driven, multi-disciplinary projects. xcfaprz

Deep knowledge of applicable regulations and standards, including: ETCI Wiring Regulations IEC standards EN standards
