Pay: $27–$35 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Spanish Translator / Interpreter (Poughkeepsie, NY)
An organization in Poughkeepsie, NY is seeking a skilled Spanish Translator / Interpreter to support communication between English-speaking staff and Spanish-speaking employees. This on-site, temporary position plays an important role in ensuring clear understanding of workplace policies, procedures, and sensitive information.
This opportunity is ideal for bilingual professionals with experience in professional interpretation, policy translation, or administrative interpretation who can communicate complex information clearly while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
Spanish Translator / Interpreter Responsibilities

• Provide real-time interpretation between English and Spanish during meetings and employee interactions
• Translate complex workplace policies, procedures, and administrative materials into clear and accurate Spanish
• Ensure that the original meaning and intent of information is preserved during translation
• Support communication during discussions that may involve sensitive or confidential information
• Maintain strict standards of confidentiality, accuracy, neutrality, and professionalism
• Interact professionally with employees from diverse backgrounds
• Deliver high-quality interpretation without adding or omitting information
• Provide strong customer service while assisting individuals during important conversations

• Fluency in both Spanish and English (written and spoken)
• Ability to interpret technical, administrative, or policy-related language clearly and accurately
• Strong listening, memory retention, and note-taking skills
• Familiarity with confidentiality requirements and professional interpretation standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional during sensitive discussions

• Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• $27–$35 per hour, depending on experience
• Temporary assignment with no defined end date
