Provide sales/technical assistance to partners and customers on Carlisle Spray Foam Insulation products. Support will include phone, email, and on-site field visits. Provide Sales support to both applicationsdirect & distribution customers. Provide authorized applicator training using the Carlisle SFI Application program. Support product management with codes, standards, and regulations. Participate in cross-functional teams where new technology might be developed. Act in accordance with company policies and best practices. Develop new business and maintain current business within the designated territory. Meet and exceed the designated sales budget on a consistent basis for the business year. Maintain consistent and timely documentation for all sales-related activity utilizing designated databases and manual processes. Follow through on all new leads and referrals presented from internal and external sources. Prepare and present sales presentations, proposals, and quotes. Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Direct experience with insulation, coatings, building envelope systems, and/or roofing systems. Effective written and verbal communication skills, including a high level of effective presentation skills to individuals and groups. Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to use the scientific method of hypothesis and experimentation. Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, as well as other web-based applications such as customer relations management systems. Demonstrated focus on delivering optimal customer service directed at meeting customer needs and company goals and objectives. Ability to influence key external stakeholders in the design process. Must have a valid driver's license and possess the ability to travel as needed by vehicle or aircraft. Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 3-5 years' Sales experience in the Spray Foam industry, with at least one year of technical troubleshooting experience with Graco, PMC, and/or other manufacturers' equipment. Direct experience with SPF Wall Insulation systems, coatings, and building envelope systems. Knowledge of building codes, HERS ratings a plus. Strong knowledge of building science principles and best practices. Must have strong organizational skills and be able to work independently. Demonstrated proficiency with the Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint); other web-based applications such as Customer Relations Management Systems (Salesforce), etc., required. Must be willing to travel up to 70% of the time, depending on business needs. Effective oral and written communication skills required. A high level of effective presentation skills to individuals and groups is required. Demonstrated record of influencing key external stakeholders in the design process. Established relationships and contacts within the design community is desirable. Working Conditions:
Some work will take place in an environmentally controlled office environment or the employee's home, but visits to external customer sites will be necessary. Such visits could include exposure to hot or cold temperatures and various types of weather conditions. Exposure to fumes and chemicals is also likely.
Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some work after normal business hours or on weekends may be required to support business demands. Required travel is estimated to be up to 70%.
