NHS Property Services enables excellent patient care by acting as a trusted property advisor to the NHS by providing the best estate solutions.
We manage 2,700 properties with 6,300 customers across England, which accounts for approximately 10% of the total NHS estate. Our properties range from listed buildings to new integrated care centres and include hospitals, GP practices and offices.
As a Property Systems Specialist, you will provide expert advice and guidance on property management software solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their business needs and design and implement software solutions that meet those needs. Your role will involve conducting research, analysing data, and identifying tailored software solutions. You will also provide ongoing support to ensure stakeholders can effectively use the software.
What you will do
Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements.
Recommend and provide options for proposed system solutions based on those requirements.
Offer constructive advice on vendor system capabilities through the project procurement process.
Provide clear professional advice on alternative solutions when requirements cannot be met by the main system functionality.
Play a critical role in building our new operating model, focusing on the integration and optimization of Advisory and Property Management systems with business processes.
Guide stakeholders on Property Management systems and technologies, ensuring the implemented systems are fit for purpose and meet stakeholder requirements.
Ensure future systems and processes conform to industry best practices and all relevant standards and regulatory requirements.
Structure and provide training and support to stakeholders on the use of systems.
Conduct regular system audits to ensure optimal performance and identify areas for improvement.
Educate and advise colleagues on system benefits.
Structure transactional workflows and reporting capabilities effectively, ensuring seamless data availability, reducing duplication, improving hand-offs between functions, and ensuring auditable data governance.
Advise on future systems support required by Advisory Service and Property Management functions through implementation and use of preferred systems and any standalone solutions.
