We are seeking a highly analytical and technically skilled Sales Development Analyst within our Sales and Marketing organization. This role is ideal for a hands-on, data-driven professional who thrives on transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive business performance and continuous improvement. The responsibilities for the Sales Development Analyst will include, but not limited to, Sales Reporting and Analysis, Competitive Intelligence, KPI tracking, Target Setting, Sales Forecasting and ongoing Process Optimization. This individual must have a strong technical foundation, a natural curiosity for data and root-cause analysis, and the ability to clearly communicate insights that influence decision-making and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and enhance sales dashboards and reporting to support distribution leadership. Perform detailed sales performance analysis, identifying trends, risks, growth opportunities, and process inefficiencies. Drive actionable insights by translating data into clear business narratives that support strategic and tactical decisions. Measure, monitor, and refine key performance indicators (KPIs). Conduct competitive intelligence analysis to support strategic positioning and market responsiveness. Identify opportunities for process improvement and reporting automation, increasing efficiency and data reliability. Partner cross-functionally with IT, Finance, and Operations to ensure consistency, accuracy, and standardization in reporting. Perform data validation and proactively identify reporting gaps or inconsistencies. Conduct deep-dive root cause analysis on data issues, performance variances and recommend corrective actions. Support ad hoc strategic initiatives and contribute to broader sales operations optimization efforts. Required Qualifications Experience in Life & Annuity or related financial services environment. Strong technical proficiency in Excel (advanced level), PowerPoint, Word, Access, Power BI, SQL, Databricks, and Salesforce. Demonstrated ability to analyze large datasets and improve reporting processes. Strong analytical, quantitative, and structured critical thinking skills. Ability to tell the story behind the data in a clear and compelling way. Hands-on, detail-oriented mindset with strong technical aptitude. Proven ability to identify inefficiencies and recommend scalable improvements. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field. Experience building executive-level dashboards and automated reporting solutions. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. Exposure to sales operations, distribution analytics, or process improvement initiatives.
