The Role
Our client is seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer to own the full experience and interface design of their browser based gaming platform and HUB. This is a hands on, high influence role focused on creating a modern, premium interface that feels intuitive, fast, and deeply polished.
You’ll shape the product from early concepts to live iteration, designing for complex systems — from game discovery to social features, events, streaming, notifications, and more. They’re looking for someone who sets a high quality bar, thinks in systems, and can turn rich, layered information into clean, engaging user flows that feel effortless.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end to end UX/UI design across the platform, from concept to live release
- Design a sleek, modern interface that reflects best‑in‑class standards across gaming, social, and digital marketplaces
- Structure and simplify complex system level information into clear, accessible experiences
- Design features including:
- Game discovery and navigation
- Social systems (friends, presence, activity feeds)
- Live events and game events
- Notifications, engagement loops, calls to action
- Streaming and meta content experiences
- Build and evolve a scalable multi game design system
- Work closely with engineering to ensure high quality implementation
- Use research, trends, and best practices to inform decisions
- Iterate using live data, feedback, and evolving platform needs
Requirements
- 5+ years as a UX/UI Designer focused on digital platforms
- Experience in games, entertainment, or interactive media
- Strong portfolio demonstrating:
- System‑level UX design
- Clean, contemporary UI
- Handling of complex user flows
- Deep, native social systems
- Strong understanding of UX/UI trends across gaming, social products, and e‑commerce
- Experience designing for web, responsive layouts, and multi‑device environments
- Strong product thinking and ability to balance user needs with business and technical realities
- Able to work independently and drive work forward with minimal oversight
- Excellent communication and ability to articulate design decisions clearly
Nice to Have
- Background in game or entertainment ecosystems
- Familiarity with motion design, micro interactions, or advanced prototyping
- Experience collaborating on modern web tech implementations
- Experience with community‑driven or player‑centric products
- Experience designing live service or continuously updated platforms
Working Conditions
This is a remote‑first role open to candidates anywhere within ±3 hours of GMT. The culture emphasises autonomy, responsibility, and outcome‑focused work. Occasional travel may be required for team sessions, industry events, or visits to development partners. xcfaprz Some flexibility in hours may be needed for cross‑timezone collaboration.
