New York-based general contractor specializing in public infrastructure projects is hiring Senior Project Managers.
Senior Project Manager role supporting clients in 5 Boroughs for NY.
Compensation: $185,000 - $250,000 with flexibility for top level candidates.
This position is ideal for a construction professional with demonstrated experience delivering public work in high-accountability, owner-driven environments.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary liaison with owner representatives and agency stakeholders
- Manage contract administration, change order negotiation, and project documentation
- Oversee schedule, cost control, subcontractor coordination, and field leadership
- Ensure compliance with agency standards, safety requirements, and quality protocols
- Support company growth initiatives through strong project execution and client engagement
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Construction Management, or related field) preferred
- 10+ years of relevant experience in public sector infrastructure construction with a general contractor required
- Demonstrated experience managing large, complex projects performed for rail and transit
- Strong working knowledge of public contract requirements and documentation standards
- Proven ability to manage complex schedules, budgets, and stakeholder coordination
