Pay will be based of a combination of prior experience and certifications held. Ranges from $35.00 to $45.00 per/FLAT RATE hour. Ford Master Certification preferred, but willing to train the right person.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and vehicles.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with diesel engines.
- Conduct inspections and testing of diesel engines to identify problems and determine appropriate solutions.
- Repair or replace faulty components, such as fuel injectors, pistons, and valves.
- Weld and solder parts as needed for repairs.
- Perform tire service, including mounting, balancing, and rotating tires.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or service technician.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines and their components.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers effectively.
Note: A valid driver's license may be required for this position.
