About
Family Eye Care is a dedicated optometry office committed to providing comprehensive eye care services. Our mission is to enhance our patients' vision and overall eye health through professional care and quality products. The position will be 4.5 days a week; Monday through Thursday 9-5:30 and Friday 9-1. Two days a week will be at our south Olathe location and two and a half days a week at our north Olathe location. The position will be open August or Sept, 2026.
*Summary*
As an Optometrist at Family Eye Care, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional eye care services to our patients. This position involves conducting eye examinations, diagnosing vision problems, and recommending appropriate treatments and eyewear solutions.
*Responsibilities*
* Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess visual acuity and overall eye health.
* Diagnose and manage ocular diseases and vision disorders.
* Prescribe corrective lenses and other treatment options based on patient needs.
* Educate patients on proper eye care practices and the use of prescribed eyewear.
* Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
* Stay updated on advancements in optometry practices and technologies.
*Requirements*
* Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
* Valid state optometry license to practice.
* Excellent patient care skills with a focus on customer service.
* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
