Software Developer (Java)

Our client is a well-established organization with a strong presence in the transport and infrastructure sector.

We are looking for an experienced Software Developer (Java) to design, build, and maintain scalable enterprise applications.

• 
  
• Develop C++ applications for embedded systems (Linux/Windows);
  
• Integrate hardware interfaces (e.g. serial, network, Bluetooth);
  
• Build backend services using Java and Spring Boot;
  
• Develop REST APIs and manage databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle);
  
• Troubleshoot system issues and support deployments;
  
• Work with cross-functional teams in Agile setup.
  

• 
  
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field;
  
• At least 3–5 years of experience in embedded or backend development;
  
• Proficient in C++, Java, REST APIs, and relational databases;
  
• Familiar with Agile methods and tools like JIRA;
  
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills;
  
• Clear communication and team player mindset;
  
• Able to work independently and handle challenges.

• This role is located in East Singapore;
  
• Hybrid work arrangement;
  
• Occasional travel within Singapore required.
