Kyckr is an innovative and rapidly scaling data and SaaS company, providing business verification services to Financial Crime teams in banks, law firms, payments service providers and other regulated entities. Our solution is a single access point to a live network of over 300 global corporate registries, through which we provide accurate data, integrated with innovative workflow tools. We are looking for a talented and driven Intermediate Software Engineer to join our growing development team. In this role, you will help develop and maintain our enterprise-level applications and services. You’ll work primarily with .NET (C#) and SQL Server, building APIs and backend logic to support dynamic, scalable solutions.


This is an intermediate-level role, ideal for someone with 2–3 years’ professional experience who is ready to take on more responsibility while continuing to learn with support from senior engineers through collaboration and code reviews.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain and help build robust .NET-based applications and APIs
  • Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code in C#
  • Develop and optimise queries, stored procedures, and database structures in SQL Server
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver on customer requirements
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging
  • Assist with integrating APIs and third-party services
  • Maintain high standards for code quality and engineering best practices

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of professional software development experience
  • Strong proficiency in .NET / C#
  • Solid experience with SQL Server (queries, stored procedures)
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs
  • Familiarity with Git-based xcfaprz version control systems
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Good communication and collaboration abilities
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure Functions, App Services, Blob Storage)
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Remote‑first with periodic in‑person collaboration days
