Restoration Project Manager — Norwalk, CT $120,000–$180,000 + Commission

40+ years of experience in disaster restoration. We handle water, fire, smoke, and mold losses, residential and commercial. We're growing fast and looking for a restoration professional who's ready to own their role and grow with us.


This Is Not a General Construction PM Role

This position requires direct experience in the disaster restoration industry. Insurance-driven workflows, drying science, and emergency response are core to this job — not construction timelines and blueprints.


What You'll Do

  • Respond to CAT and daily loss events; inspect and assess damage
  • Develop scopes of work and write Xactimate estimates including supplements
  • Manage structural drying programs; maintain drying logs and moisture mapping
  • Direct contents manipulation and pack-out operations
  • Lead field crews across multiple simultaneous projects
  • Maintain job file compliance — COCs, chain of custody, photo documentation
  • Work directly with insurance adjusters, TPAs (Contractor Connection, Alacrity, Sedgwick), and ERA programs
  • Negotiate supplements and navigate subrogation
  • Coordinate ALE situations with displaced clients
  • Respond to on-call emergencies including evenings and weekends


What You Bring

  • 1+ year in disaster restoration — required, no exceptions
  • IICRC certifications: WRT, FSRT, and/or AMRT
  • Mold Remediation Certification
  • Xactimate proficiency
  • Knowledge of psychrometrics and structural drying
  • Strong insurance claims and TPA workflow experience
  • OSHA 10/30 preferred
  • Clean driver's license
  • Available for on-call rotation and up to 75% travel


Schedule Monday–Friday | On-call rotation | Overtime & weekends as needed
