We're currently seeking a Project Manager/Estimator to support our engineering and project teams. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with technical skills, design software proficiency, and a passion for the low voltage industry.

Position Overview

The Project Manager/Estimator will assist in the preparation of low voltage system designs, floorplans, and cost estimates for commercial and industrial projects. This individual will work closely with our Senior Engineer and field teams to perform site walks, analyze plans, and help create accurate, professional proposals and design documents.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing detailed low voltage system drawings and floorplans using Bluebeam
• Perform site walks to assess project scope, document existing conditions, and gather necessary data
• Support the estimating process by calculating materials, labor, and equipment costs
• Create and maintain organized documentation for bids, estimates, and design revisions
• Coordinate with project managers and engineers to ensure designs are accurate and feasible
• Interpret architectural and construction drawings to identify cabling pathways and system layouts
• Communicate effectively with clients, general contractors, and internal teams during site visits
• Update and revise drawings based on project feedback or changes in scope
• Maintain awareness of applicable codes and industry best practices
• Report directly to and collaborate with the Senior Engineer and estimating team

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Bluebeam
• Understanding of structured cabling, low voltage systems, and related components
• At least 2 Years of Experience in Estimating and Project Management
• Prior experience in the low voltage, construction, or electrical field is highly preferred
• Ability to read and interpret construction and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and able to manage time across multiple projects
• Comfortable working on-site and in office environments
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for site walks)
