Job Description
Location: Vodafone Retail Store
Reports to: Store Manager
Salary: €37,000.00 per annum plus commission
The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in the day‑to‑day running of the Vodafone retail store. The role is responsible for helping lead, motivate and develop a team of Sales Advisors to achieve sales targets, deliver exceptional customer service, and ensure smooth store operations. The Assistant Manager plays a key role in driving store performance, maintaining Vodafone brand standards, and ensuring operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & KPI Performance
- Support the Store Manager in achieving and exceeding store sales targets and KPIs.
- Drive performance across key metrics including:
- Monitor daily sales performance and coach team members to improve results.
- Lead by example through strong personal sales performance.
- Team Leadership
- Assist in managing, motivating, and developing a team of 6 Sales Advisors.
- Provide daily coaching and feedback to improve individual and team performance.
- Support the onboarding and training of new team members.
- Help create a positive, energetic, and results‑focused team environment.
- Step in to lead the team in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Customer Experience
- Ensure every customer receives excellent service aligned with Vodafone standards.
- Support the team in resolving customer queries, complaints, or escalations.
- Promote a consultative sales approach focused on customer needs.
- Store Operations
- Assist in managing the daily operational running of the store.
- Ensure compliance with Vodafone policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organised and customer‑friendly store environment.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Track and review daily, weekly and monthly KPIs.
- Assist the Store Manager in analysing performance and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Help implement action plans to drive store growth.
Key Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in telecommunications or technology retail.
- Experience in team leadership or supervisory roles.
- Strong sales skills with a track record of achieving targets.
- Excellent communication and coaching skills.
