Setting - out Engineer

INFORM3 Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a Main Contractor for:

Job Title – Setting-out Engineer

Project – Housing Development

Job Location – East Cork

Salary – €45,000 - €55,000

About the Company

A setting-out engineer is required for work across several housing developments in the East Cork region. Multiple live sites. Candidates must be proficient in all aspects of setting-out. Excellent opportunity for long-term work with a busy contractor across Munster.

The Role

• Setting out and checking works as required for the project
• Ensure all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations.
• Ensure that all materials used and work performed are in accordance with the specifications
• Reporting to Site Manager
• Maintain excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors and site personnel.
• Monitor facilities and analyse operational data
• Attend daily and or weekly meetings as instructed by management.
• Comply with safety regulations on all equipment and health and safety regulations of the site

Requirements

• A Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years’ post-grad experience with main contractor.
• Confident in your ability to work alongside other trades
• Ability to use setting out instruments is essential and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination
• Excellent IT Skills
• Strong organisational & communication skill
