The Role My client is looking for a motivated Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their engineering team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career engineer who is keen to develop practical design skills while working on real engineering projects under the guidance of experienced engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the design of mechanical components and assemblies using 3D CAD software Produce and update engineering drawings and basic technical documentation Support senior engineers during concept development and design reviews Carry out simple engineering calculations with guidance and supervision Help prepare bills of materials (BOMs) and design packs for manufacture Assist with prototype assembly, testing, and design improvements Liaise with manufacturing and suppliers as required, with support
