Senior Software Engineer (React / Java)

12 Month Contract with view to extend or convert

We are currently partnering with a global payments technology organisation to hire a Senior Software Engineer with strong front end expertise to join their engineering team in Dublin.

This role sits within a high performing agile team responsible for building and evolving a large scale payment gateway platform used globally. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and delivering scalable software solutions while driving engineering best practices and improving user experience across the platform.

• Design, build, test and maintain high quality software components
  
• Interpret technical specifications and translate them into detailed designs
  
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver features on schedule
  
• Contribute to architectural discussions and system improvements
  
• Continuously improve product quality, performance and user experience
  
• Work within an agile development environment and CI/CD pipeline
  

• 
  
• Strong experience developing commercial software applications
  
• Front end expertise with ReactJS
  
• Solid backend development experience with Java (J2EE, Spring, Hibernate)
  
• Experience working in Agile environments
  
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and Test Driven Development (TDD)
  
• Experience with Git and xcfaprz Jenkins
  
• Database experience with Oracle or PostgreSQL
