Electrical Engineer

• Dublin mainly and some travel to meet business needs
• 60k – 70k Basic Plus company benefits

Involvement in all aspects of the preconstruction stage including health and safety, technical submissions, construction drawing production, prefabrication, building control submissions and the management of the projects commissioning phase

· Graduate with a degree in Building Services or Electrical Engineering

· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a fast-paced construction environment

· Must have a thorough understanding of I.S.10101, I.S.3217 and I.S.3218

· Background in consulting and/or construction is highly desired

· A basic working knowledge of CAD functionality with MS Office experience

· Ability to use IT based calculations and spreadsheet software

· Health & Safety awareness with an understanding of the legislation and required standards

· Undertake project work by taking responsibility for the preparation of engineering designs for electrical installations and systems

· Data manipulation of original drawings according to the revision of the specification Conduct independent reading and research to ensure drawing/specification accuracy

· Liaise with various contractors regarding the design and coordination of installations

· Preparation of Operations and Maintenance Manuals
