About
We are seeking a dependable IT Systems Administrator to manage and maintain our internal technology infrastructure. This role is responsible for daily IT operations, network and server administration, user support, security, and planning technology improvements. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and capable of supporting both users and core systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Microsoft Active Directory
- Install and configure Microsoft Windows*- desktops and workstations
- Manage network equipment including routers, switches, and wireless access points (including Ubiquiti)
- Maintain servers running Sage Accounting
- Administer Microsoft Remote Desktop
- Manage Microsoft 365*- users, email, and security
- Support company MySQL databases and PHP CMS applications
- Install and maintain Cat5/ethernet cabling
- Provide daily helpdesk and ticket management
- Manage VPN access and network security
- Maintain system documentation and network diagrams
- Keep spare desktops prepared for rapid replacement
- Purchase IT equipment and plan technology rollouts
Qualifications:
- Experience with Windows server environments and network infrastructure
- Working knowledge of routers, switches, and wireless systems
- Familiarity with server administration, databases, and web platforms
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
- Strong organization and documentation skills
Preferred:
- Experience with Ubiquiti networking equipment
- Experience supporting Sage accounting systems
- Experience with VPNs, security practices, and small-business IT environments
