Coinbase Onramp streamlines the process of moving money onchain, playing a vital role in inviting users into the crypto world and advancing our mission for a universally open financial system. Joining our team means working with a talented group of engineers who are dedicated to building top-notch infrastructure for transferring funds both onchain and offchain. Onramp plays a pivotal role in facilitating billions of dollars into the onchain space, and you will be crucial in enhancing our product offerings. Our clients include some of the most widely used applications in the crypto sector, such as Coinbase Wallet, Metamask, Phantom, Block (Bitkey), and Ledger. What We Look For: A minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience.
A scrappy, self-starter mindset with a strong focus on customer experience.
Robust full-stack engineering skills; you are capable of developing reliable backend services and delivering responsive UIs that address real-world complexities.
Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and event-driven design; you excel in integrating with both internal and external services.
You write high-quality, well-tested code tailored to meet customer needs.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with designers and product managers.
A passion for exceptional developer tools and insights on building outstanding developer platforms.
A strong interest in onchain/Web3 technologies and familiarity with blockchain systems, particularly Ethereum and other EVM-compatible chains.
Desirable Qualifications: Experience with a rapidly growing company transitioning from startup to mid-size.
A background in developing solutions on blockchain technology (like Bitcoin or Ethereum).
Expertise in breaking down a large monolithic architecture into microservices.
Experience in building high-reliability, security-focused financial systems.
Job #P66239 Compensation Notice:
The target annual base salary for this position ranges from $186,065 to $218,900 USD, depending on location. Full-time offers from Coinbase also include eligibility for bonuses, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
