Electrical Design Engineer - The Role:
Design and draw electrical control circuits (to relevant British & European regulations) on an electrical CAD package. Development of electrical drawings from new sheet through to red line updates of electrical drawings Project management of all aspects of machine electrical design Liaison with customers (internal and external) and suppliers Select components & cables, taking into account all circuit and environmental conditions Adherence to internal and regulatory electrical drawing system and standards Contributes ideas / innovation for continuous improvement on machine design
Electrical Design Engineer - The Person:
HNC/D or Degree Qualified in Electrical Engineering 5-10 years’ experience in an engineering / design office Experience in design of electrical circuits and control panels Experienced in the use of an Electrical CAD package Knowledge of control panel component & cabling selection Knowledge of relevant British and European EN Regulations Good verbal and written communication skills Self-motivated with a desire to achieve high standards
Located in Manchester, this role would be commutable from Bury, Rawtenstall, Rochdale & Bolton.
