Network Engineer - SD WAN My client, a large consultancy, is in need of a Network Engineer - SD WAN for a 6 month contract inside IR35 based in Warwick offering 2 days per week remote but requiring 3 days per week on-site. The ideal candidate will have In depth knowledge of Wireless LAN (Cisco WLAN, Cisco ISE, Aruba WLAN, Aruba Clearpass) and private 5G (eg Cradlepoint) solutions, Proficiency in Wi-Fi survey tools (Ekahau), RF design, and deployment of enterprise-grade wireless solutions.
In depth knowledge of SD-WAN solutions (CISCO Viptela), In depth knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), carrier WAN and Internet offerings, cloud network services, In-depth knowledge of Cisco LAN switching technologies including STP, RSTP, MSTP, VLANs, EtherChannel and switch stacking; proficient in configuring and troubleshooting Layer 2 and Layer 3 Switches, implementing QoS, and managing network segmentation and redundancy, Ability to produce detailed designs, implementation plans, and operational support models, Strong stakeholder engagement and coordination across multiple environments.
