About
We are seeking a technically capable, organised and detail-driven Web Developer & eCommerce Migration Support Specialist to assist with the migration of from BigCommerce V2 to V3. This is a hands‑on role focused on detailed catalogue work including SKU deduplication, product restructuring, data preparation and testing, alongside the ongoing management of (BigCommerce) and (Shopify).
Key ResponsibilitiesProduct & Catalogue Management- Add and maintain products on BigCommerce and Shopify
- Configure variants, pricing and attributes accurately
- Ensure correct categorisation, filters and product visibility
- Process bulk updates including pricing and availability
- Support ongoing catalogue maintenance
- Maintain stability and usability across both websites
- Manage apps, updates and content changes
- Implement merchandising and promotional updates
- Monitor site functionality and report issues
- Support integrations with systems such as Linnworks and Peoplevox
- Maintain accurate product mapping and data synchronisation
- Identify and resolve discrepancies between systems
- Make minor frontend adjustments using BigCommerce Stencil or Shopify Liquid where required
- Resolve layout or usability issues
- Ensure responsive performance across devices
- Manage user permissions and platform settings
- Assist with testing before updates or releases go live
- Support product data migration activities
- Identify duplicate SKUs and carry out catalogue clean‑up and consolidation
- Organise products into clear structures with correct variants
- Validate pricing across currencies and markets
- Prepare and update data using spreadsheets and bulk tools
- Support sandbox testing across product pages, navigation, cart and checkout
- Log issues clearly and assist with resolution
- Perform quality checks xcfaprz prior to launch
- Experience working with BigCommerce and/or Shopify
- Strong large product catalogue and data management experience
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working with large volumes of product data
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills
- HTML/CSS knowledge
- Liquid and/or Stencil knowledge
- Familiarity with systems such as Linnworks or similar is beneficial
- Ability to work to deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
