A leading international law firm is now seeking a Banking Solicitor (1–4 years’ PQE) to join its expanding Cork‑based team. The firm offers a hybrid working arrangement of 3 days in the office with occasional travel to its Dublin office.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded solicitor to work on high‑quality domestic and cross‑border finance transactions within a collaborative and forward‑thinking environment.


The successful candidate will advise a broad range of financial institutions, alternative lenders, corporate borrowers, and investment entities across a variety of banking and finance matters.


Key Responsibilities

  • Advising lenders and borrowers on secured and unsecured lending transactions
  • Acting on real estate finance, acquisition finance, and corporate lending matters
  • Drafting and negotiating facility agreements and security documentation
  • Supporting cross‑border transactions in collaboration with international teams
  • Conducting due diligence and managing transaction processes
  • Liaising directly with clients and managing key stakeholder relationships

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified Solicitor in Ireland (or eligible for admission in Ireland)
  • 1–4 years’ post‑qualification experience in banking & finance
  • Strong technical drafting and transactional skills xcfaprz
  • Experience gained in a mid‑tier, top‑tier, or international firm
  • Commercially aware with strong client‑facing capability
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
