Principal Front End Engineer

As a Principal Engineer in Oneview, you will be working towards generating technical solutions for implementing new features from a rich, forward-looking and ambitious roadmap, while ensuring that the existing codebase is maintained to a high standard.

This will include participation and technical leadership in all aspects of our native AI SDLC; from requirement discovery with Product Management; planning with our agile delivery team, Scrum Master and team stakeholders; agentic orchestration, code generation and review; liaising with automation engineers to ensure and enable highest level of test coverage; and finally assisting in setting up and maintaining the deployment pipelines for our products.

We highly value people that can mentor and develop junior team members; helping them to improve their skills on a day-to-day basis; and guiding them on how to use AI tools effectively, ethically, and securely. You will teach them how to validate AI-generated code rather than just accepting it.

• Work with software engineers, Product Owners and test automation engineers to help plan their own work and assist others in a high performing agile team to generate, review and deliver an innovative solution for workflows and improving patient experience in a healthcare environment
  
• Design and refine prompts, instructions, skills, MCP servers, and agentic workflows to automate routine development tasks, from PR descriptions to complex refactoring
  
• Take ownership of our front-end codebases, evolve them to fulfil our engineering goals - let us build and deploy high quality products faster.
  
• Lead by example in evolving our team towards full stack development.

• You understand the importance of information security and your responsibility to maintain and ensure it in every process in Oneview Healthcare.

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with excellent knowledge of React and TypeScript
  
• A keen interest in UI design & interactions & a knowledge of the latest design & development trends
  
• Experience of agentic orchestration, using MCP servers and AI tools to deliver high quality, complaint software and tests
  
• Have experience in user-interface design, understanding of typography, layouts, grid systems, and interactions. xcfaprz
  
• A good eye for design and a solid understanding of UX best practices
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a relevant related subject
  
• Experience designing and building against REST APIs, ideally building APIs also
  
• Demonstrable experience writing and running unit tests using Jest/Vitest. Experience using React Testing Library is also good to have
  
• Experience using NPM and associated build tools and task runners (e.g. Vite, Rsbuild)
  
• Experience automated deployment and implementing CI / CD pipelines highly desirable
