Xerox is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead complex software development and IT infrastructure projects in Europe. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing hybrid FTE and contractor resources, delivering projects on time and within budget, and ensuring alignment between business goals and technical implementation. Projects will range between small to medium sized customers, through to large clients operating across multiple countries / regions. The candidate must be fluent in both French and English, with additional European language skills a plus. They will also have a particular background in technology and technology project management, with advantage given to candidates who have experience in Customer Communication Management (CCM) project management and are familiar with the leading CCM technologies. Key measures of success will be:

Over time, demonstrably be able to present a profound understanding of the Xerox CCM offer, the technology that underpins it and the CCM sales and technology strategy
Be identifiable as the key point of contact by clients and staff as SME on Xerox technology and deliveries
Have a performant track record of delivering projects on time and against budget
Can demonstrate an ability to influence client and internal customer, without direct authority
Be noted as driving great customer satisfaction feedback, both internal and external

Scope:

The role holder will act as both CCM technology SME and project manager for all CCM projects in the EU
The role holder should expect to offer support to sales teams, capable of demonstrating the technology to support the sales narrative
The role will demand virtual management responsibilities, often including international staff and subcontractor teams
The role demands appreciation of technical impacts of decisions, and expects the individual to offer steer and opinion to assist the navigation of technical conflicts
It will also manage escalations, activity reporting, cost tracking and any Project Management Office (PMO) activities to support global delivery, including operational risk management for customer communications solutions projects
Provides leadership and support for new business opportunities (e.g. mega-deals, complex and/or global). Takes an active role in bids and supports the transition and implementation of new business (including new service offers)
Decisions are guided by policies, procedures, strategy, management leadership and business plan
Adapt and socialize project plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges

Main Responsibilities:

Lead the project management of CCM IT deliveries, maintaining accurate project documentation, including project status reports, issue logs, and lessons learned, and ensure solution documentation & artefacts are correctly produced and provided a maintenance process as part of each delivery
Continual learning arc, working with the technical teams to better understand the functionality of the CCM platform applications, as well as gain an appreciation of the underlying technology infrastructure
Support pre and post-sales client engagements, demonstrating the CCM platform where required and comfortably holding high level solution & delivery conversations with client contacts
Report into management status of each delivery, providing executive summary where required
Continually maintain KPI dashboard to surface the successes and weaknesses in Xerox CCM delivery accuracy & capability as the client base grows

Education Requirements:

Relevant Degree Educated Within An IT Discipline
Professional experience considered in lieu of academic background
Minimum Relevant Professional Qualifications
Relevant project management certifications preferred
ITSM Methodologies (ITIL, Togaf, Cobit Etc) preferred

Candidate Background - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

Must have proven project management skills with substantial experience in using Agile, Scrum and Waterfall methodologies to deliver projects. Relevant accreditations expected
Must have an IT background, or substantial experience delivering IT projects involving disparate, virtual teams
Must have Strong interpersonal skills for both client and virtual teams
Must have Fluent French and English speaking skills
CCM familiarity, with direct project management experience of CCM projects an advantage preferred
Able to evidence improved customer satisfaction and productivity achievements
Dutch As a Third Language An Advantage Nice to Have

Additional Role Requirements:

Some global travel will be required – valid passport needed.
