About

The Nursing Supervisor is a Registered Nurse responsible for the administration of the nursing department in a Long Term Care Facility. This includes the overall planning and organizing of activities and staffing of the nursing department. Supervising nursing staff. Admissions. Notifying MD/NP of Labs and test results. Rounds with the providers. Other functions include, but are not limited to, all items related to the nursing department, including performance improvement activities, staff meetings, and implementation of new processes. This position is responsible for the functioning of the nursing department. This person is a member of the nursing administrative team and reports to the Director of Nursing.
*REQUIREMENTS*
Must have an unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Mississippi
Must be able to pass a criminal background check as required by the state of Mississippi
*PREFERRED*
5 years of Long Term Care experience with at least 3 years in a management role
