Lead Software Engineer (Founding)

Dublin (remote flex – meet every 2-3 weeks)

Another Irish-founded startup with huge momentum, simplifying the regulatory process for SMEs and small businesses. Close to €2M in pre‑seed funding.

You’ll own the product from end to end, taking their product from MVP to a comprehensive, scalable solution. They had a temp/fractional CTO who did a great job… and now looking to make their first in‑house engineering hire - you’ll be the technical expert in the business, working alongside senior leadership and building the internal engineering function. You’ll combine product thinking, thoughtful design, and hands‑on full‑stack development… shaping everything from the underlying architecture to the experience people see and use every day.

• A seasoned engineer with a proven track record of building product from scratch.
  
• Likely 8+ years’ experience.

• Their stack is Typescript/Nodejs backend, and Nextjs on the UI – but they’re totally language agnostic (this hire will have autonomy to change the environment)
  
• Ideal for someone who has been there and done it in a startup environment before.
