**The job details are as follows:
****Responsibilities
*** You will be part of an experienced team of software developers who frequently release enhancements and new products for use by OCLC libraries and will see their work used in production services.
* Use industry standard programming techniques to translate requirements and designs into code.
* Analyze and solve problems in existing systems.
* Design, code, and test multiple modules of a system in a timely manner.
* Participates in unit, system, and acceptance testing by designing tests, building test data, test execution and evaluation, along with recommending/making improvements/fixes to the tested system.
* Assists in developing and interpreting requirements.
**Requirements
*** **Candidates must be currently enrolled as students at the time of the internship.
*** Working towards a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or related degree.
* Completion of first-level engineering courses
* Good familiarity with Java
* Experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS a plus
* Experience with databases
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Strong problem solving and analytic skills
* Excellent customer and team-interaction skills
* Pro-active and self-motivatedOur Interns will also be invited to participate in additional learning opportunities throughout the Summer including "Lunch & Learn" events with executive leadership, volunteer opportunities to give back to local community, and other Intern-only events.
