Casual School Meals Program Assistant

Do you love working with food and making a positive impact on students’ lives? We’re looking for Casual School Meals Program Assistants to help deliver nutritious meals and promote healthy eating habits across our district.

What you will Do:

• Prepare and serve delicious, balanced meals for students.
• Organize food service areas and keep everything running smoothly.
• Shop for groceries and manage supplies.
• Keep accurate records and maintain a clean, safe kitchen.
• Help create newsletters and fun activities that encourage healthy choices.

What we are looking for:

• Grade 12 or equivalent education.
• At least 3 years of food preparation experience.
• FoodSafe Level 1 certification.
• Knowledge of Canada’s Food Guide.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills (30 wpm).
• Ability to lift and carry out physical tasks.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
